We're reimagining Shakespearean characters as tarot cards and have portrayed queen of the fairies, Titania as The Empress. The Empress tarot card typically represents divine feminine power which is expressed in creative, nurturing and mystical energy. The Empress draws her power from the natural world and has a strong connection with taste, touch, scent and sound. In a Midsummer Night's Dream, Titania, embodies all attributes of The Empress. She nurtures and protects the mortal changeling child while remaining empress of the mythical world.
