COVID-19 UPDATE 02.11.2020

Thank you so much for your support of our small business during this strange year, as an online business we’re incredibly fortunate that we’re able to continue operating during a period of lockdown.

For many, books and literature provide a wonderful source of escapism and we’d love to continue to offer our products for as long as we’re able to - especially with Christmas on the horizon. Sadly, it’s an ever-changing situation and we’re keeping up to date with the latest government advice but for now - here’s what we’re doing….

As you may know we were lucky enough to move into a wonderful new studio space back in September and we’re able to continue to operate from our studio by following all government advice and regulations including social distancing. We have strict hygiene measures in place to ensure everyone remains safe and our new space provides us with ample room for social distancing (there’s only ever a maximum of three of us in the studio at once and there are four separate rooms!).

We would like to remind you that the postal services have understandably slowed down to ensure everyone's safety so please allow longer than usual for your order to arrive.

• UK based orders are sent via Royal Mail and are currently taking around 3 - 8 working days to arrive.
• International order turnaround times depend on the destination but please allow 4 - 6 weeks for your order to arrive. International orders are sent untracked unless you upgrade to tracked shipping at the checkout.

With Christmas fast approaching, we would be so grateful if you are able to plan ahead and order as early as possible. The Christmas period is always a challenge for independent businesses and this year brings a whole new set of obstacles with the COVID restrictions.

By ordering early or spreading out your Christmas shopping throughout November, it helps to take the pressure off our small team and is better for our stock flow (some items may sell out by December & we may not be able to get more stock due to lockdown!).

Ordering your Christmas gifts early will also hugely benefit the Royal Mail and other delivery services who are under even more strain than usual this year. I know that not everyone is in the position to do their Christmas shopping early, but if you are able to, it would really help us and the delivery drivers out!

We would like to say a huge thank you to each of you - we really appreciate every single one of your orders. We know it is tough out there right now and we’re so grateful to be part of a wonderful bookish community that looks out for each other.
